All About Family and Consumer Sciences

The mission of Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) is to strengthen individuals, families, and communities through education. We strive to be recognized as a leader in enhancing the quality of life for the people of Cuyahoga County through research-based information and program outreach.

The Family and Consumer Sciences program provides educational opportunities in the areas of nutrition, food safety and preservation, family life and child development, budgeting and other family issues, textiles, clothing, and home management.
