Welcome to the web site of the Master Gardeners of Cuyahoga County

The Master Gardener Program provides intensive training in horticulture to interested gardeners who then volunteer their time assisting with educational programs and activities for Ohio residents through their local Ohio State University Extension county office. (see "About Us")

Membership applications are accepted each winter. Applicants receive intensive classroom Basic Training, and become Master Gardeners after successful completion of weekly quizzes and a comprehensive written final examination, and contributing required volunteer hours by the following winter. (see "How to become a Master Gardener")
