    Though approximately one in five young people suffer from a mental illness, it remains a stigmatized topic. On average, eight to ten years can pass before adolescents share their symptoms and seek help. Join us as our Teen Leaders discuss ways to normalize the conversation around mental health issues to ensure that youth feel safe and supported.

    The Market Gardener Training Program (MGTP) is a training program offered by Ohio State University Extension’s Urban Agriculture Program in Cuyahoga County.  This ten-week program provides a foundation for urban agriculture and small business development to prepare participants to start their own enterprises growing produce and other agricultural products for the market. Classes will meet Thursday evenings, from 6:00 – 9:00 pm, February 4th through April 8th. (Classes will be held online, unless otherwise notified).

    Cultivating positive personal finance habits as a teen is a skill you’ll use for the rest of your life. From opening a bank account to saving for college or career school, this series will cover the basics of managing money to help set you up for financial success.

    A polar scientist has gone missing and no one can find her. Using data and maps you will pinpoint her location and help to discover who took her in this virtual 4-H Special Interest Club to be held on Zoom. Space is limited and special considerations apply. Mondays, January 25th to March 15th, 3:30-4:45pm Before you register for this SPIN Club you should know that it is a very special project designed for youth who will be entering or completing grades 6, 7 or 8 because of the skills needed to complete the curriculum.
