The Ohio State University Extension Master Gardener Program is a volunteer educational program designed to meet the horticultural needs of citizens of Ohio. Its purpose is to train volunteers and use their expertise to teach people more about plants, their culture, and their importance to the environment and our quality of life.

  • July 7th  Application Deadline

  • July 14th  Each applicant will be notified of their status by email.

  • July 28th Mandatory program orientation for all accepted applicants

  • August 2nd  Accepted applicants must register and pay for the training through the carmen canvas online portal by August 2nd. The cost of the program is $250.00 (two partial scholarships are awarded each year, and a payment plan is available to anyone)
