Join OSU Extension Cuyahoga County for an evening to learn about getting started raising chickens in your backyard. This workshop will take place via Zoom on April 27th, 2023, from 6 to 8pm. Topics for discussion include breed selection, safe egg handling, chicken health, zoning requirements, housing nutrition and more. This course fulfills the educational requirements for Lakewood City Hen Keeping Ordinance and presents all attendees with a certificate of completion.

Urban Agriculture and Innovation Production (UAIP) competitive grants initiate or expand efforts of farmers, gardeners, citizens, government officials, schools, and other stakeholders in urban areas and suburbs.
