Emergency Assistance is temporarily available for families affected by COVID-19, through the Prevention, Retention, and Contingency (PRC) program with Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) funding. While limited funding is available, individuals meeting eligibility requirements may receive funds to help meet essential needs in the form of a voucher.
The deadline to apply is November 19, 2021.

Join more than 300,000 Ohio youth and adults, and crunch into local apples at noon on Thursday, Oct. 14 at schools, early care sites, colleges, and hospitals across Ohio (and the region) to celebrate Farm to School Month and local food in cafeterias. It’s simple and easy to participate. Register online, purchase local apples, and crunch in October.

The Ohio Department of Agriculture is working with OSU Extension to make seed samples available for people to garden. The seeds are packaged to provide one person seed to try out. They are not full seed packets. Each 9x6 envelope contains 3 sample-portions of 3 different seeds. Seeds types will include:
