  1. Cuyahoga County 4-H to Hold Service Event To Support Australian Wildlife

    Cuyahoga County 4-H will hold a Service Event on January 25th, 2020 to support the wildlife affected by the Australian wildfires. We will be creating bat wraps, koala mittens, joey pouches, animal slings and beds. Everyone is welcome, you do not have to be a member of 4-H.

  3. WIC Perks Program

    The Lakewood City Council recognized Lakewood Farmers’ Market, the MetroHealth System-Cuyahoga County Women, Infants and Children (WIC), and Ohio State University Extension for its successful partnership in piloting the WIC Perks program at their October 7th council meeting. During the meeting, Council presented a resolution thanking the partners for their dedication and success and embraced the goal of increasing access to fresh, local fruits and vegetables for families who experience food insecurity.

  5. Third Annual 4-H Day at NASA Glenn Research Center

    The event is geared to inspire youth from kindergarten to 12th grade to become interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields. This year's theme will be Celebrating the 50th Anniversay of Apollo.

  7. Community Substance Awareness Summit

    The Community Substance Awareness Summit will be on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Baldwin Wallace College, Student Union- Strosacker Hall, 125 Tressel St. Berea, OH 44017 The event is free and open to the public. The summit is for youth(12 and older), family members, teachers, community members and youth serving professionals. Free parking behind Student Union. Lunch will be provided. Registration required.
