  1. Youth Advocacy Leadership Coalition (YALC) Activities

    The YALC is excited to begin a new year! We have several events in January to give teens plenty of opportunities to keep busy and stay warm.

  2. 2018 Dig-In Community Gardener Training Program

    Dig-In! helps community members gain the knowledge and skills necessary to plan, design and build a thriving and sustainable community garden.  Please complete one application per person.  If you have any questions about the program or this application, please call OSU Extension at 216 429.8200 x246.

    Applications are due by 5pm on April 27, 2018.

    Notice of acceptance into the program will be sent by May 4, 2018.

  4. Market Gardener Training Program

    OSUE Cuyahoga is currently accepting applications for the 2018 Market Gardener Training Program. The Market Gardener Training Program (MGTP) is a training program offered by Ohio State University Extension's Urban Agriculture Program in Cuyahoga County.

    This ten week program will provide a foundation in urban agriculture and small business development to prepare participants to start their own enterprises growing produce and other agricultural products for market. Classes will meet Tuesday evenings, from 6:00 - 8:30pm - January 23rd through March 27th, 2018.

Gardens enrolled in Summer Sprout are eligible for soil testing, soil amendments, tilling services, plants, seeds, materials for raised beds (if eligible), technical assistance and education.
