Ronda is a licensed social worker with over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector in program development, management, and service delivery. Prior to her position at OSU, Ronda served as the Director of Vocational Services for a nonprofit supporting community members who had various barriers to meaningful employment.

In the fall of 2017, Ronda joined OSU Extension as a nutrition educator, a role that provides nutrition education via evidence‑based lessons on healthy eating, physical activity, food safety, and resource management to adults and youth across diverse community settings. Ronda has built strong alliances with community partners across Cuyahoga and Lorain counties to recruit participants and expand program reach, improve food security, and healthy living. Her efforts contribute to EFNEP and OSU Extension missions by supporting statewide efforts to strengthen community access to economical food, better-quality nutrition, and active lifestyle options. When not working, she values time with family and staying active.
