Youth EFNEP in Cuyahoga County is targeted toward youth in primarily grades 3-8 both at schools and in out-of-school time (OST) community settings. We have worked with schools, after-school programs,

Summer Food Service Programs (SFSP), and summer camps. A school district qualifies for youth EFNEP if 51% or greater of their student population is receiving free or reduced price school lunch/breakfast.

Youth EFNEP is offered as a series of six, dynamic one-hour lessons. Lessons are based on My Plate concepts and include basic nutrition, label reading, increasing physical activity and food safety.
